The IBM System/360 Flowchart is a System/360 program designed to produce program flowcharts. This documentation aid operates under the IBM Disk Operating System (DOS) and is intended to minimize the planning and effort required to produce and maintain program documentation. It enables the user to:

  1. Produce clear, uniform, easily reproduced computer-generated flowcharts.
  2. Keep flowcharts continually up to date.
  3. Standardize flowcharting techniques throughout the installation.

This reference publication contains the specifications and detailed instructions for using the
System/360 Flowchart program. The only prerequisite for reading it is a basic understanding of flowcharting.
