The Hawk Microcomputer has been specially designed as the basis for a reliable business computer system. It comes as standard with a Winchester Hard Disk, which will give sufficient storage space for both programme software and data files without the need to continually change disks. It can be used as a single user system or can be expanded so that up to four people can use it at the same time, either working independently or sharing the same data files.

It uses the industry-standard CP/M operating system, or its multi-user variant, MP/M II, which gives you access to a wide range of proven software. In addition, a variety of Visual Display Units can be used, enabling you to have the most appropriate terminal for your use.

This manual has been specially written to enable you to set up the computer and get started and also to provide a source of information once you are already familiar with the it.

The Computer used the Hawk 12880 Microprocessor board included a 4 MHz Z80A Microprocessor and 128 Kilobytes dynamic RAM. Hawk Microcomputers were based in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. U.K.

The manual was kindly donated by Graham W F Pike
