"In 1964, IBM decided to build a new plant in France, for the production of machines previously manufactured at Corbeil-Essonnes, where the plant was now specialising in semi-conductors.
 
The town of Montpellier was chosen as the most appropriate site for the new plant, which became operational in June 1965"
 
Contains some great pictures of the plant, the IBM 370/168, IBM 360 and 370 series and the 303x and 3081 systems.
