The Concise 28 N is a small circular slide rule, which calculates multiplication and division, proportions, square and square roots, cubes and cube roots and profit calculation. The reverse side has conversion tables for weight, volume, velocity, pressure, flow rate, length, area, weight, power, energy and heat, temperature and density.

A slide rule is a mechanical analogue computer which was one of the primary methods of calculation up until the mid-20th Century with the introduction of the desktop calculator and electronic computers. They were used for calculations including multiplication and division, as well as functions such as exponents, roots, logarithms, and trigonometry.

Concise is a Japanese manufacturer of circular slide rules, who continue to make slide rules to this day.
