identify failures in the integrated catalog facility (ICF) of
the Data Facility Product (OFF) program product. This manual*
in conjunction with riVS/370 Catalog Diagnosis Guide.
SY26-3914* will help a diagnostician to understand the design
and organization of the integrated catalog facility and the VSAN
catalog management system and thus communicate better with an
IBH program specialist about a problem.
For those installations having both types of catalogs (ICF and
VSAN)* information on the VSAM catalog management system is also
provi ded.
Note: This manual is not intended to supply all the information
necessary for module maintenance.
