This publication is planned for use as a
guide to the content of main storage during
the execution of a PL/I program compiled by
the PL/I Checkout Compiler. It
specifically describes the
interrelationship between the source
program (after "translation" by the
compiler), PL/I control blocks, system
control blocks, library subroutines, and
checkout compiler routines, along with ciny
workspace and "save" areas necessary. This
information is particularly relevant to
users of the PLIDOMP facility and for
personnel engaged in program maintenance.
