EDITORIAL

Acorn releases its Unix system and RISC OS, arranges support and backup for Unix and gives advice to software writers for RISC OS.  RISC OS gives software writers the stable platform they have been waiting for.  It makes the machine a viable alternative to the PC or Mac for doing real work.  a 305 is not happy with RISC OS, and 1Mb machines begin to look cramped with a decent RAMFS, font cache and two 250k application programs.
