The Recreated ZX Spectrum

Kickstarter product from the company Elite, who for many years published games with great success on the original machine, that recreated the ZX Spectrum very closely indeed, and added modern features such as bluetooth to hook up to modern tablets and phones etc.

There was to be an online store to add games to the device, which is a closed system, but a row over unpaid royalties, and licensing problems meant this part of the project went unfulfilled. The keyboard was hacked, and a way found for games to be added to it.

Technically this is just a bluetooth keyboard and not an actual computer.
