The Matmos PC was a re-badged Triumph Adler Alphatronic machine running CP/M.

The Alphatronic was mainly sold in Germany and was intended as a 'hybrid' Business / Home machine. For Business it was sold as either a 'dumb' Terminal or as a stand-alone Word Processor 'package' (consisting of base unit, WP Cartridge and (Centronics) printer.

TA Alphatronoic computer type CK with a serial number of 8 KU 17966 and a further unit  8 YZ 08590 together with the original box and packaging was kindly donated by Stewart Hill

Our unit has twin 5.25" disk drives
complete with Users Manual and disks as well as the Advanced Users Manual

Made in Germany 1983
Zilog Z80 running at 4 MHz
