The CDD167 is a second generation CD-ROM XA (extended Architecture) host controller board to be used in PC/AT computers. 

The board interfaces between a Phillips CD-ROM drive on the one hand and the personal computer on the other. 

A CD-ROM XA, subsystem, consisting of the CDD167 CD-ROM XA Host Controller, the CD-ROM drive and the accompanying driver software, is capable of reading the following categories of discs: 

  • CD Audio. 
  • CD-ROM. 
  • MPC-discs. 
  • CD-ROM XA discs. 
  • Multisession/Photo cd. (if used in combination with the CDD461 multisession drive). 

Our version is boxed and includes the original manual and installation disk.
