In 1979 Nintendo had produced a very large console called the Nintendo TV Game, which basically played Othello, only a short time later, the Famicom was released, and one of the launch titles was Othello, which of course was a far cheaper way to play the same game. This has made the Nintendo TV System extremely rare and valuable today.
