Starting out as a launch title for both the Xbox and GameCube in early 2002, the game reached the PlayStation 2 in an enhanced form later in the year. The game is a vehicle combat game, slightly in the vain of the Twisted Metal series, the fights take place in 12 different arenas, as well as using the cars to take out other racers, more dangerous items can be used such as chainsaws, axes and dozens of equally lethal weapons. Several modes of gameplay are on offer, smack attack, hit your opponents for points, Gate Relay, which is passing through five gates before your foes. Then catch the flag, which has controllable characters, and can be played by 1 to 4 players.
