The National CF-2700, was produced by Matsushita Denki. National was the brand used in Japan The Panasonic name was used in Europe.

The nickname King Kong was used for the MSX1, the computer is a single unit, and has all the features of the MSX standard apart from sporting two cartridge slots. The National machine has 32K of RAM, the Panasonic one 64K.
