This is an 8 bit sound card for early PC computers. It supports Adlib and Soundblaster compatible games, and has 22Khz digital audio sampling, 11 voice FM Synthesiser, and a joystick port. There is also microphone input, as well as an audio amplifier, volume control, and a good selection of free software including Lemmings, Nova 9 and Lexi Cross.

Also includes disks for Thunder Master - a software package that allows you to record, edit and playback your own sound files.

The card does not support MIDI at all - the joystick port on the back is purely for joysticks when other cards of its time used unused pins on the joystick connector to provide MIDI in and out connections.

The Thunderboard card is essentially a cut down clone of the Soundblaster 1.5.
