This model is the ONE+.

The ONE was coined as the UK’s first sub-£100 laptop at release, selling at £99. The ONE+ cost £119 and added Bluetooth, upgraded the RAM from 128MB to 256MB RAM, and 2GB solid-state storage instead of the 1GB.

The ONE was designed to offer affordable access to wireless internet, email and word-processing. Aimed primarily at the education sector, the laptop was intended to be a tool to give children modern computing skills and access to online resources, and to give teachers a range of new methods to teach with.

The ONE was targeted toward the education segment of consumers with the goal of improving computer literacy across the nation. The vision for the ONE was for every pupil to have their own laptop. To reach that goal, the company pledged to donate one ONE to underprivileged children from disadvantaged areas for every 100 ONEs sold. The ONE & ONE+ came in five different colours: Jet Black, Pink, Silver, Ice White and Green. The ONE is very small in size and weighs less than a kilogram. It has a seven-inch LCD with an 800 x 480 resolution. It runs on a LNX Code 8 Mobile 300MHz processor. As for storage, the ONE includes 1GB of onboard flash memory. It can also accommodate 1GB-16GB of removable storage. The ONE has wireless & ethernet connectivity. There are two USB 2.0 ports, two built-in speakers, audio-in mic and headphone ports. It comes with a three-cell battery that offers about four hours of power. The ONE has a splash-proof, removable QWERTY keyboard. The ONE features a "what-you-see-is-what-you-get" (WYSIWYG) user interface. The operating system is LinOS Linux 2.6.21 with a pre-installed software bundle. Among the software included is an e-mail suite, a productivity suite, a cross-platform instant messenger, a digital photo viewer and drawing package. The ONE also includes a suite of 11 games for your entertainment. The ONE was affected by delays, and finally expected to ship by September 2008. The elonexone.com website was closed down by November the same year.
