This manual helps you diagnose a failure in the VS FORTRAN
Version Z program product. The quickest May to resolve such a
failure is to first determine if IBM already has a correction
for it. If your problem has already been documented* reported
and resolved* then all the information you need Mill be
contained in an IBM data base such as the SoftMare Support
Facility (SSF). To efficiently determine that, you must
describe the failure Mith a keyMord string. This manual assists
you in the systematic development of keyNord strings.
This manual does not assist in diagnosing and debugging problems
in your application programs. For such assistance* see the VS
FORTRAN publications referred to beloM.
SSF is an IBM online data base that contains information about
all current Authorized Program Analysis Reports (APARs) and
Program Temporary Fixes (PTFs). Your keyuord string serves as a
search argument for the softMare support data base.
