Assembly language assembled for the Sinclair ZX81 Date: 1983 Assembly language assembled for the Sinclair ZX81

For really fast-running programs, as required for games, moving graphics and word processing, your program needs to be in assembly language which runs much faster than BASIC. Unfortunately, the Sinclair ZX81 does not allow you to enter assembly language programs directly, so while you can write assembly language programs for it, they have to be translated into machine code before they will run on the machine.
