BBC Version of the ultimate Play The Game classic.
It is said that after numerous difficulties Ultimate themselves had converting Jetpac to the Vic 20, all future 6502 processor work would be outsourced, while the Z80 work would remain in house, this led to various freelancers tackling the unenviable task of converting the much loved Spectrum classics to the Commodore 64 and BBC Micro, although the credit always went to Ashby Computers & Graphics, a task made more difficult by Ultimate insisting they used the original source code.
Although perhaps the jungle is not quite as well drawn as the Sinclair version, the Beeb one is pretty much the same experience, the score slapped in the bottom left of the screen is rather ugly, and for some reason the life counter is missing, so the player has no idea when it is game over, but these are minor differences, and any BBC owner would have been delighted with Sabre Wulf on their machine.
