The Amstrad PC2286/40 had a 12.5MHz 80286 16-bit processor, 1MB of RAM, 64KB of Cache and a 40MB hard disk.
The VGA adaptor supported MDA, CGA, Hercules, EGA, MCGA and EVGA modes.
It had a serial a parallel port,a 5.25 inch disk drive and a mouse port.
It could run the following operating systems: MS-DOS 4.01/Microsoft Windows and Microsoft GW-BASIC
The 2286's CMOS data is stored via 4 AA batteries.
