Domain Apollo Computer

Notes and details of the Apollo Computer Open Day at Oxford Polytechnic in November 1982.

The Open Day included the first public demonstration of the DOMAIN networking architecture by a user in the U.K., and the first public demonstration of the new Apollo DN 600 colour workstation. Major new product announcements were also made including the UNIX System III, ETHERNET support, multi-user software for the Versatec V80, and hardware floating point performance improved by Aegis operating system release SR5.0.
