Apple II Language System Installation and Operation Manual helps the user install the apple language system for the Apple II and the Apple II plus. The Apple Language system gave a full 64KB of RAM. This was as much as the microprocessor can address directly. This upgrade gave the user the capability to program in Integer BASIC and Applesoft Basic on their Apple II computer. The Language System also includes Autostart ROM(Read-only memory) IC (integrated circuit), this gave the user the ability to screen edit their BASIC or AppleSoft programs. Also Autostart ROM IC automatically start the user's disk drive when they turn on the computer.

The Apple II or Apple II plus needed at least 48 kilobyes of RAM on its main printed circuit board. It also needed at least one Disk II drive and controller card. For each Disk II cards the user has they must have disk controller PROMs, P5A, and P6A.

The manual came as a guide which gives a description on how to set up an Apple Language System. It gives a quick reference of where the user can find the instructions on how to install Pascal, AppleSoft, and FORTRAN.
