Millipede Electronic Graphics design and manufacture broadcast video boards which was earlier associated with Acorn RISC products. They are a Cambridge and Bury St Edmunds based company.

The Apex Imager is a highly advanced video-graphics processing board specifically designed for the Acorn range of RISC computers. The board generates a full colour(32 bits pixel) analogue display to the PAL or NTSC television standards and is ideal for the creation, manipulation and processing of high quality video images. Other input/output options, such as CCTR601 stantard serial digital input/output interface may also be deilvered.

It uses the Apex Imager chip FPGA 0.70D and has a serial number of 5110596 dated 21/03/1996. It is in pristine condition and comes with a 296 reference manual issue 0.1 dated 02/11/1995
