Index Braille is the world's largest Braille embosser producer. By raising the technical level and lowering the prizes Index Braille has made braille more accessible for blind people all over the world. Since its founding in the early 1980's the company takes larger market shares every year with its focus on the end user.

The Index Classic is a technically advanced printer that can produce Braille in computer or literary (grade 1) translation. It has 16 different braille language codes buily in.

It prints at an interline speed of 25 characters per second
