An unreleased wafer memory unit. Instead of individual RAM chips, this contained an entire silicon wafer with multiple chip dies. Any imperfections in the wafer would cause the the dies covering them to fail, so the drive was intelligent enough to automatically route around failed units. Kindly donated by Nick Terry.
