The Parallel Interface Card gives you the capability to generate reports, listing, labels and letters with your Apple computer using a variety of parallel-interfaces printers, and is fully firmware and hardware compatible with the previous Apple Parallel and Centronics cards.

Parallel Interface Card...

  • has full 8 bit input and output ports so user can look for printer error functions.
  • has switch selection of strobe and acknowledge polarities and strobe length, so there is no configuration block to write.
  • has switch selection of ROM code so there is only one product to buy.
  • provides full control of I/O if required by user.
To use the Parallel Interface Card, you will need the following system:
  • Apple II Plus with 48K
  • Apple II Disk Drive with controller
  • printer with parallel interface requirements
  • requires the use of an external cable available as Apple Part No A2M0052
