This is the same game as G.I. Joe Cobra Strike. As the G.I. Joe name would have no marketing value overseas, the name was changed, the game became a license for the Action Man series of figures, huge in Europe for boys who could dress their soldier dolls in whatever uniforms they wanted. Action Force was a cartoon tie in.

In the single-player mode, the player controls an training camp on the bottom of the screen protected by a barrier and armed with two laser cannons. In two player mode the controls are split between the two players. best played with the paddle controller, it is up to the players to protect the camp from a giant robotic snake.
