Early model one ZX Spectrums were manufactured with light-grey keys instead of the blue-grey used in later models. Somewhere around 14-16000 model ones were produced; ours has serial number 001-007045.
16K, but has a white sticker which indicates a 48K model, 16K machines should have a green sticker.
The machine has been reworked by Sinclair, including rewiring and a poorly fitted chip.
Due to a high failure rate, it is possible to find issue one boards with Blue/Grey keys, as Sinclair would repair and re house the boards.
