Just when we thought 2020 couldn't get any worse! We were about to re-open after many months of being closed but then disaster struck when a mains water pipe burst and flooded much of the ground floor of the museum.

LTC Time Code Reader MKII

This is an SMPTE LTC (Longitudinal or Linear TimeCode) reader podule for the Acorn Risc PC and the Archimedes A5000 machines.

SMPTE timecode is a set of standards to label individual frames of video or film with a timecode. Timecodes are added to film, video or audio material, and have also been used to synchronise music. They provide a time reference for editing, synchonisation and identification. Timecode is a form of media metadata.
