Restart Party - 30th September 2014

Restart Party - 30th September 2014

Description :

Do you have a broken phone, ipad, computer, camera or other electronic or electrical item, that you'd like to repair it? Then come along to Cambridge’s first ever Restart Party at the Centre for Computing History and learn how to repair it!

We will help you learn how to fix your gadgets and small electronic appliances, starting with troubleshooting, advising on spare parts if necessary and more. Or if you already do these kinds of repairs, come along to show others how to and to share knowledge with other repairers!

Please let us know what you intend to bring so that we can make sure we bring the right tools, or get in touch if you could help with the repairs.

More information about the Restart Project: http://therestartproject.org/ & https://twitter.com/RestartProject
Janet's TEDx talk about circular economy: http://therestartproject.org/consumption/we-are-the-circular-economy/

No need to book, entry is free, just come along with your broken device!

Disclaimer
Restart Parties are a collaborative learning process, not a “free repair”, and they are run entirely by volunteers. The Restart Parties are as much about learning as the actual fixing. We will do our best to help you fix whatever you bring (but no guarantees!).

Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum!
