The Advance Electronics Mini Executive is an early example of a pocket calculator from 1972. This example in our collection is believed to be a pre-production model.

The Advance Mini-Executive was a pocket calculator with an eight-digit LED display. Its main IC was the Texas Instruments TMS0103. The calculator is a standard four-function model. It was manufactured in UK. The float/fixed point and constant switches are unusual as they require a press-and-twist action to activate them.

This pre-production model is missing the 'Executive' branding in the lower-left and the status LEDs above the float/fixed point and constant (K) switches.

Manufacturer: Advance Electronics
Date: 1972
