"The Interactive Video in Schools Project sponsored by the Department of Trade and Industry has now been running for some 18 months and has been led by Mr B Plummer. In that time we have designed, created and programmed eight interactive video packages for use in the classroom.

These packages consist of videodisc and computer software plus curriculum materials designed by the project teams in conjunction with teachers within the trialling schools. All the packages have been designed to be either integrated with existing curriculum materials and practices or with emerging developments such as GCSE. IVIS is conceived as a fonnative project for the whole of its lifetime and changes will be made as lessons are learnt."
