The p-System was developed during the 1970s at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to be a common environment for students that could run on any of the microcomputers on campus at that time.  This operating system was known as UCSD Pascal or the UCSD p-System variously.  It went on to become a commercial product, being one of the three operating systems offered at the initial launch of the IBM PC.

This manual was published in 1983.  'It describes the p-System facilities which enable you to develop programs.'
