The 630 API Printer is similar to the 40 CPS (630) Printer. It will support a
heavy workload usin' conventional seri&d or parallel data interchange techniques
and protocols. The areas of difference include the carriage assembly, paper feed
motor anti-backlash gear, and control panel assembly. Additionally, the 630 API
contains two PWBs, the Servo Control Electronics (SCE) board, and the All
Purpose Interface (API) PWB. This interface enables the 630 API Printer to be
connected to a variety of systems, using the appropriate interface cable.
