Switched on Hackathon - 12 August 2016
Description : Go from being a Scratch and Pi beginner to a pro in this half-day workshop! Learn how to use Scratch to program the Raspberry Pi then have a go at ‘hacking’ your way through a box of ‘bits and bobs’ to create your own simple project. This workshop is aimed at children aged seven and up and is ideal for children at the KS2 level. Please note that all under 14's must be accompanied by a responsible adult. The fee is £40 for workshop participants, and £30 for every extra participant in the same booking. Accompanying adults are charged our standard entry fee of £8. Although the booking is for a specific time slot, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre is open from 10am to 5pm. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available from our Pac Lunch Shop, but remember to bring a packed lunch! There's also plenty of seating for parents :) Date: 12 August 2016

Places are limited. Tickets must be booked in advance. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.
