Up Close and Personal with PCs - 24 August 2017
Description : Personal computers have revolutionised our lives - but how did such a complicated machine become personal in the first place? Join us on this guided tour with our computing experts to find out more. We'll be showing you iconic computers and taking a dive into the innards of the machine. If you've got no idea what's going on inside that box on your desk, this is the tour for you. This tour is suitable for all ages, providing a great introduction both to the history of the personal computer and the technology behind it. Standard admission fees apply. Although the booking is for a specific time slot, entry to the Centre is permitted all day. The Centre will be open from 10am. Tea, coffee and snacks will be available from our Pac Lunch Shop. Date: 24 August 2017
Time : 2pm - 3pm
Spaces for these exciting hands-on workshops are limited, so booking is required to ensure your place. Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.
