How to use the IBM PC Emulator on a Nimbus PC 186.

The Nimbus PC would not run many IBM software packages in its native mode due to its architecture used to implement the 80186 processor, and extended video and sound capabilities. Its memory map was also different. This guide explains how to use the software based IBM emulator to switch the Nimbus PC into IBM mode. Even with this emulator in use many packages that directly accessed the hardware would not run, and an IBM mode board was needed. This board also added a real time clock to the Nimbus.
