The AKA10 BBC I/O podule was one of the first podules launched by Acorn when the Archimedes was launched in 1987. It provides additional ports which allowed many BBC Micro peripherals to be used with the Archimedes. The ports are: User port, 1MHz Bus and Analogue. There was an upgrade to add MIDI functionality (but I haven't seen one yet). The podule is also unusual as one of the few double/full width podules produced.

The AKA10 BBC I/O podule is documented in the I/O Podule Guide .

The Acorn AKA15 MIDI Upgrade is an upgrade to the Acorn AKA10 I/O podule . It consists of some additional ICs and the MIDI IN & OUT sockets and the ribbon connectors to the board.

The MIDI User Guide is also with this board.
