Description :

It's the second Dragon Meetup, hosted again at The Centre for Computing History.

You don't have to be a Dragon owner - or even know much about Dragons - to come come to this celebration of the classic Welsh home computer. This small but active user group have been collecting, restoring, developing and expanding their machines for over 35 years.

This year we hope to have every single variant of Dragon in one place at one time for the first time ever! Pictured is the Dragon 16 'Pippin' prototype, a Dragon MSX (the only known one in the world) and the Dragon Alpha. We'll also have numerous 32s and 64s, a Tano, a Dragon 200 and 200e (with lower case letters - ooh!), the unique Dragon Beta - and even a Liberator Laptop, developed by the Dragon team for Thorn EMI after Dragon Data's demise.

We have a special guest too - Duncan Smeed, technical software manager for Dragon Data and co-author of "Inside the Dragon". Dragon fans, bring your copy to be signed!

We'll also have some unusual clones, some cool software demos, all the latest expansion options and a bunch of other 6809 and 6847 based machines to look at.

Time: 10am - 4.30pm.

* Concessions include Students, OAPs, Disabled and Carers.
* Family entry is for 2 Adults and 2 Children.
