In this workshop you will build your own ‘micro’ computer and program it using the BASIC language. The kit will require some soldering. Although most of the workshop will be hardware focused, worksheets will be supplied to create simple programming projects. The kit will be yours to keep, and can be expanded to even include a small touch screen!

The workshop will run from 11am until 3pm, with a break for lunch.  It is aimed at children aged 10+.

Please note that all under 14's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  If you have already booked an accompanying adult ticket for another event on this day, you do not need to book another one for this event.

Although the booking is for a specific time slot, entry to the Centre is permitted all day.  The Centre is open from 10am to 5pm.

Tea, coffee and snacks will be available from our Pac Lunch Shop.  There's plenty of seating for parents.
