Electronics Lab: Build A Pong Console - Thursday 23rd August 2018
Come and build yourself a Pong Console that you can take home and impress your friends!!
We'll be turning our 80s Classroom into an Electronics Lab. We'll have soldering stations set-up and our in-house electronics expert will help you assemble, solder and test your Pong Console ready to take home with you.
Ideal for budding electronics engineers or anyone interested in learning to solder, this is a great little project that will give you your very own Pong console that YOU made! It connects to a standard LCD TV via the composite video input and runs from two AA batteries.
Build a Pong Console is a lively and unique workshop aimed at children aged from eight upwards. All under 14's must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Spaces are limited for this hands-on session, so booking is required to ensure your place.
Payment is taken by PayPal immediately. Please print a copy of the receipt that is displayed at the end of the payment process and bring it with you as your e-ticket.
Please note: Whilst we'll make every effort to help ensure your Pong Console works, careful assembly and soldering is required and we cannot be held responsible for any non-working consoles due to poor assembly.
This workshop is priced at £26.00 per participant and includes the cost of the kit and entry to the Centre!
