Datawind Ubisurfer

Originally costing £160 and based around an ARM 9 chip, this was a small device intended for internet use on the move, for the money the user would get only 30 hrs of internet time a month.

The screen resolution is 800x480, and often would struggle to view pages properly, there was also no flash support.

Rapidly superceded by machines with superior functionality, but still appear regularly on second hand sites, as people can add more modern boards and operating systems to the case for cheap office work on the go.
