Melcor or Melcor Electronics Corporation of Farmingdale, New York (USA) was one of the first US companies to enter the pocket calculator business. Like Bowmar, they were known for quality products but only made calculators for a few years.

The Melcor 380 is a four-function calculator, and is one of the earliest to have two memory registers, one for storing a constant and the other for general-purpose use. It has an eight-digit LED screen. It was powered by one 9V battery.
