Minutes of the LEO Policy Meeting, 15th May 1959. Research comments: Refers to machine LEO II/5 (Hartree House service bureau), LEO II/7 (British Oxygen) and LEO II/8 (Standard Motors).
Refers to people David Caminer, Mr Rowley, Mr Gibson, Mr Barnes (Tony Barnes).
Suggests there is a strong case for having a spare magnetic tape machine for LEO II/5.
Makes reference to a quotation for an off-line printer for the Yorkshire Electricity Board but suggests time spent developing such a printer would delay other development work. Agreed that a later LEO might best serve this customer. (LM)
