Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.
The fourth installment in the Mario & Luigi RPG series, Dream Team Bros follows the Mario Bros on an adventure to a new land Pi'illow Island, where the world of dreams can be accessed thanks to the islands Dream Stone. This attracts the attention of Bowser, who teams up with Antasma, the bat king and it is up to the brothers to defeat them and restore peace to the island.
Dream Team Bros was released as part of Nintendo's Year of Luigi, which saw the release of several games that focused on the youngest of the Mario Brothers, Luigi. Usually 2nd fiddle, Dream Team gives Luigi more abilities and character development, showing how much Luigi looks up to Mario and Luigi's resolve in helping his brother save the day from Bowser.
As is a staple for the series, gameplay consists of platforming and puzzle segments, intermingled with turn-based battles. Players control Mario using the 'A' button and Luigi using the 'B' button respectively, each button press increases the attack power of normal attacks and well timed presses ensure that special attacks (also known as Bros. Attacks) land correctly during battle.
