Minutes of the LEO Management Meeting, 7th August 1959.

The Minutes record that the first magnetic tape machine for LEO II/7 is ready for testing at Decca.
 
The Minutes also record that LEO II/9 and LEO II/10 are to have an "8,000 core store".
 
The Minutes refer to the Document Reader project and plans for it to feed a double sided document.
 
The Minutes refer to the concept of the "logical package" - one of more standard packages covering a combination of gates and mixes etc. which would carry out a variety of logical functions so that the logical package could be used generally, avoiding special design and also simplifying maintenance procedures" and reducing the number of spares. This could only cover 25% of the circuits in the machine. (LM)
