Fingers Crossed for 2021 ...

2020 was the worst! COVID kept the museum closed for much of the year and a mains water pipe bursting causing a flood kept us closed for the rest.
We're hoping to re-open in the next few months ... fingers crossed! Read More >>>

LEO Computers Society Reunion

7th April 2019

Members of the LEO project team at CCH were delighted to attend the 2019 LEO Computers Society (LCS) Reunion at the Victory Services Club in London at the weekend. This biennial event is a wonderful opportunity for the members of the Society, many of whom are pioneers, central to the LEO story, to spend the day reminiscing together and to celebrate their involvement with the first business computer. This year it also provided us with an opportunity to involve the LCS membership in the project and to consult them on what we're doing with their heritage.

We took along several table-fuls of objects from the archive collection, including original LEO user manuals, hardware and a slideshow of images from the photographic archive. We also took the opportunity to film interviews with some of the original LEO I team. There are further pictures and a full report of the event on the LCS website.
