Elite Dangerous

After a successful Kickstarter campaign raised 1.7 million pounds to fund the development of the game, a two year development period ended with the games release on 16th December 2014, at an event at The Imperial War Museum Duxford.

The game is similar in format to the earlier games in the series, but obviously more advanced, the player takes control of a space ship and can travel all over the galaxy, trading goods with planets, and building up defences for the craft.

Defeating pirates and joining online clans new to the series, it is open ended, and allows the player to play the game the way they want.

In 2015, the game was released on Xbox One, and over two years later in mid 2017 on Playstation 4.
