One of the Vic 20's most famous titles, and one that can be played by anyone, as it requires just one key to play.
There is a plane flying from left to right, and lower and lower, the player must drop bombs on the buildings to make a landing strip, so the buildings must be completely destroyed, playing a bit like Space Invaders in reverse.
It was inspired by the Atari game Canyon Bomber from 1977, although the author did not see the game until years later.
It was first written for the Commodore Pet by Peter Calver and published as Air Attack by his company Supersoft in 1979. A listing for the game appeared in the December 1979 issue of Personal Computer World.
The Vic version was originally Vic New York, and was published by Commodore themselves.
