Description of Photograph

Poor quality print of a published photograph of the Ferranti magnetic drum fitted to LEO II.  According to Peter Bird's caption, four of the drums could be attached as optional backing storage for the LEO II system.  

The image appeared in Data Processing, Jul-Sep 1960.

Collected by Peter Bird as part of his research for his book LEO - The First Business Computer (1994).
