Virtual Coding Workshop - Saturday 31st October 2020
Description : This Halloween join Dan for some spooky Scratch coding to make your very own version of Spooky Pong, or Spong as we call it! This is a really fun workshop that needs nothing more than a web browser, a Zoom account and an internet connection. You don't need any previous coding experience and the workshop is staged so that everyone can make the core game, and those that fancy a bit more challenge and a deeper look into how games are made can stick around. There will be plenty of opportunities along the way to ask questions, and we will be going at a steady pace so that everyone has the time to make something they can be proud of. The workshop starts at 11am GMT, and will last around 2 hours. You will be able to ask questions during the session if needed, and there will be a short break halfway through. You're welcome to have a grown-up take part with you to help, if you like! One ticket permits your whole family to take part on one device. This session is aimed at children, and recommended for those over 7.
Remember - All proceeds go to support our Computing Museum! |
